Breeze, fresh air; feminine form of Nasim. Sham el Nasim, or "smell the breeze," is an Egyptian spring festival that takes place the day after Easter in commemoration of Pharaonic spring and Nile festivals, and is celebrated by Muslims and Christians alike.
